As you know you have always been able to sort your friends by groups or guilds even,now you have the option of setting your best friends,the latest addition here at Renspace.com

 

Simply go int your friends tab,then edit best friends and drag and drop, it's that simple.

Blogging: Question:How do I create a blog post? Answer:After successfully logging into your account, select the Blog tab along the top of your site. Select the Add Blog Post menu option. You will be prompted to supply a title to your post, a category the post belongs to, and whether you want it to be viewable to anyone, your friends, or kept private. Photos and videos can be included in a blog post by hitting the Insert Photo, or Insert Video buttons at the bottom of the posting window.

Question:How do I upload a video to my page?

Answer:Once you have successfully logged into your account, select the Videos tab along the top of your site. Select the Upload Video option. Videos you wish to upload from your computer can be selected with the "Browse" button. Once you have finished selecting your photos, hit Finished! Upload Now! Please note the following for your video uploads: Max upload size: 100MB Allow video types: mov, avi, mpg, mpeg, wmv, mp4, flv Please note, by clicking "Upload" you are affirming that the video that you are uploading does not contain nudity, sexually explicit content, violent or offensive material, or copyrighted images.

Question:Issues with images

Answer:First, make sure that the image you are attempting to upload is in one of the formats accepted - jpg or gif. Next, make sure the filename is simple and short, with no space or funny characters. "Image.jpg" is an acceptable filename. Next, make sure the file is less than 2MB. We do not allow images over 2MB in size. If none of these tips help, it's possible that the image is corrupted.

Question:How do I add color, graphics & video to my Profile page?

Answer:Adding color, graphics and video to your Profile page is easy. Begin by going to the Profile tab found along the top of your page. Then select the Layout and Style menu option. Here you can customize nearly any part of your site's look. Graphics and videos can be upload to either your photo and video galleries or shown directly in a blog post. Detailed directions on uploading photos and videos, or making a blog post can be found in the blog area just follow the links.

Question:How do I change my default profile picture?

Answer:After you have successfully logged into your account, select the Profile tab along the top of your site. Select the Change Profile Photo menu option. From here you will be able to choose from between any of the photos you have previously uploaded to your galleries, or upload a new photo.

Question:What is My Hub?

Answer:My Hub provides an all-in-one access point for your social networking. It shows the recent activity on your site, allows you to interact with your users or groups you have joined, displays your calendar and any RSS feeds you have chosen to display.

Question:What is RSS?

Answer: RSS or Really Simple Syndication, is a group of web feed formats used to publish frequently updated digital content, such as blogs, news feeds or podcasts. Many popular websites offer these feeds to their users which can be displayed right on your own Site.

Question:How do I add an RSS feed?

Answer: After successfully logging in to your site, select the My Hub tab found along the top of your site. Then select the RSS Feed Manager menu item. From this screen you can manage all of the RSS feeds that you have added to your blog. You may add, edit or delete feeds. Simply type in the URL of the RSS feed you wish to add to your My Hub page in the box provided. Next, select how many items from that Feed you wish to be displayed. Hit the green + to add your Feed and you're done! All Feeds added will be displayed on your My Hub.

Question:Can I edit or move a photo after uploading it to my galleries?

Answer:No, images can not be edited or moved between gallery folders once they have been uploaded. If you need to change a photo or move it to a new folder, you will need to download it, make your change, and upload it again.

Question:How do I cancel or remove a group I've created?

Answer:Once you have successfully logged into your account, select the Groups tab along the top of your site. Select the appropriate group, and then select "Edit Information.: At the bottom of the screen it will ask you if you'd like to permanently delete this group. Hit Delete.

Question:How do I change the group moderator?

Answer:Once you have successfully logged into your account, select the Groups tab along the top of your site. Select the appropriate group, and then select "Step Down as Moderator."

Question:How do I add a Friend?

Answer: Once you have identified a user you want to befriend, you can invite them to be a part of your friend list. Visit their profile page and below their name you'll see a link that reads, Add Friend. Depending on the user's privacy settings, they will either immediately be added to your friend list or a mail message will be sent to that user asking them to accept or decline your invitation.

Question:How do I create an account?

Answer:When visiting our site, a link to our signup page can be found in the top left corner of the screen. If you have trouble finding this link, visit: Signups. Creating an account is a quick 3 step process. Step 1: You will be asked to provide basic contact and profile information. Step 2: Complete the sign-up process. Step 3: Build your site!
Question:I'm having problems creating an account.

Answer:Please send us an email describing how far into the account creation process you were able to complete, as well as the error you received to Customer Support.

Question:Is this site free?

Answer:The personal site - which includes blogging, photo and video hosting, groups, calendars and more - it's free.

Question:Can I turn off my ads?

Answer:Ad content can not be removed or turned off

Question:How do I change my contact information?

Answer:Once you have successfully logged into your account, select the Profile tab along the top of your site. From here you have several choices. Edit Profile is what you will need to select to change your contact information.

Question:How do I delete my account?

Answer:There is currently no option to delete your account,just go to http://thearcher.renspace.com and drop me a line and i can delete your account.

Reporting Abuse:
Question:How do I block a user?

Answer:You can block a user by visiting their profile and click "Block User," which will prevent them from contacting you. A link will be provided to confirm blocking the user. Once a user is blocked you can manage your blocked users by visiting your Profile page and selecting the menu item Manage Blocks.

Question:Someone on your site is bugging/harassing/threatening me - what can I do about it?

 Answer:The best thing to do in such a situation is to ignore and block the user. If you do not respond or acknowledge them, it is likely they will leave you alone. Blocking them will also prevent them from contacting you. If you have been threatened, contact law enforcement immediately.

Question:I think my account has been compromised and I can't log in.

Answer:First, try to retrieve the password for your account through the Password Recovery Tool. Once you receive your password, you can log into your account and change the password to your to your account. Make sure the password for your account is never shared. Also, it's a good idea to not use the same password you use for your email account.

I understand we are friendly to the 13 and up crowd but the new profanity filter is a bit extreme, i am working on it, so i am blogging this to let you know i am working on it, so bear with me. I am in no way a sponsor of censorship and am all for your freedom of speech.
